Lady Rae

Raecine AKA Lady Rae has worked in Radio for longer than she’d like to admit! She first got the “radio bug” from interning at the #1 News Station in the nation; 1010 WINS while attending the High School for Environmental Studies in midtown Manhattan. Simultaneously finding her voice in performing arts and writing, she polished her presence behind the microphone when anchoring and reporting news in her community. During her sophomore year here at SUNY Old Westbury, she joined the OWWR family, which became a second home. She continued at her craft as a reporter and PR Manager while producing and editing several segments. However, her on-air debut as a personality began as a co-host on “Luvline” with Lumi in 2008; a show discussing love and relationships. She then continued on to a show called “Take Two Radio” with the one and only Jax. She has made numerous guest appearances on such shows as “Showoff Radio”, “Side B Radio” and “Press Play Radio”. She still reports with the OWWR News Team on “In the Know” as well as the “6pm News Update”.

“Best Kept Secret” is by far the best part of my week. I get to broadcast a great show with a great friend for a great audience. The show’s title says it all!
