Indie's BKS: Drama Family

Drama Family Records is an Upstate New York label based in Kingston, NY. The label itself was created by founder and owner Young Bro in June of 2011. Among the artists on the roster, including Young Bro, are Yung Zeus, Dough, and Mr. Neighbor. While a new company, the label has already recieved 5 independent music awards, one pertaining to 'Most Songs in the Top 10 at One Time.' With several hits out already, Drama Family is currently working on a debut album, expected to release early next year, as well as individual mixtapes for there four signed artists.

The man that holds Drama Family Records together leads his crew by example. Though Young Bro handles the business end, he's not afraid to show that he can still hold it down in his music. Though young and new to the business, he's got the ambition to get done what needs to get done!

One of Drama Family's flagship artists, Yung Zeus, is already heavy into his debut mixtape entitled, "They Call Me Zeus." While only 18, he has a lot of hits on numerous mixtape and music websites, including Hot New Hip Hop and Reverbnation. He also has a planned mixtape release performance slated for November. Season 3 Begins!!!

Welcome to the premiere of the new season of Best Kept Secret! Entering season 3 starting October 14!
We're bringing in this season with a different feel. There's a new time slot, live 8pm-10pm on Friday nights! Switching up the music to independents artists and throwbacks. Also Lady Rae has now been joined by yours truly, Aycee, as the new co-host!
Like I said, the music will consist of indie and throwbacks! So if you are, or know anyone that is, an independent singer, emcee, writer, etc... (of ANY GENRE) that would like to get some of your work on the radio, let us know! We're looking to hear the story behind your craft.
